Science Fiction Series
Yes, you read it right. I am currently writing a science fiction series. The series will compose of several novellas which will be roughly 15,000 words each. I think the total set of novellas will be about 7, but we'll see.
The first one is done and almost ready to post up as a free ebook on this page. I'd rather keep all my sci-fi stuff in one place. The series is called Return of the Aliens. Here's the cover:
The purpose of this series is to give a speculative scenario of what would happen if aliens suddenly announced their existence to us. And then the questions through the series are what is their purpose and what is their identity. The first 15,000 word ebook (The Vanishing) starts with a mysterious disappearing of millions of people, one of which is Autumn's sister Marianne. So Autumn is going to do a search for her. It sets up the foundation for the main questions I plan to tackle later.
The target market for this story might be adults (I would not recommend this for children or preteens due to subject matter that is coming up; I plan to cover some advanced topics like cloning and DNA manipulation in future stories). It's geared more for science fiction/thriller readers who are open to the possibilty of the supernatural (when I say supernatural, I don't mean stuff like vampires; I'm talking more along Biblical terms--like angels and such).
