Want to know what I'm working on? Look below to find out! If you have any questions about my upcoming books, please email me!
Note: all sample chapters are in their rough draft forms. There will be errors.
I am going to try to make audiobooks. My plan is to set the books up on places like iTunes so people can download the audiobooks (by chapter) for free. If I can, I will set the audio file up on my website, but since this is my first attempt at this, I don't know how it'll work yet. Since I am going to focus on making some audiobooks, I may not have The Wrong Husband ready in April 2010 like I originally intended.
My first book I plan to make is Loving Eliza.
Then I plan to make Eye of the Beholder, His Redeeming Bride, Meant To Be, and With This Ring, I Thee Dread. (Not necessarily in that particular order.)

Historical western romance (R)

This started out as a novella but now that I'm at 31,000 words and not even halfway done, it's become a full-length novel. I began it as part of my 500 words a day challenge. You can read the daily posts here or wait until the book is finished and available as a free ebook to read it.
I think the book trailer pretty much sums up what it's about but a short summary is that Woape is on the run and the question is why.
Category: Historical Romantic Comedy (R)

Owen is in deep trouble. In order to save his aunt from poverty due to a bad gambling problem his uncle had, he wins back the money from the group of gamblers and returns it to her. Realizing that they want to kill him, he flees from the southern state of Louisiana to Nebraska where he runs into the sheriff who mistakes him for Irvin who signed up to be his deputy.
Owen decides that this beats death, because there are wanted posters all over the place seeking his arrest. So he plays along and pretends to be Irvin. What he didn't realize is that Irvin agreed to marry Jenny Larson (Dave Larson's sister from Eye of the Beholder). One look at her tells him that she is beautiful, so he agrees to marry her. His lies, of course, do keep building and eventually catch up with him when the real Irvin shows up.
This book is also a comedy because he's going to be a fun character who's hard to hate, and there's too much fun to be had with a man who gets caught in his web of lies.

Contemporary Romantic Comedy (R)
I'm going to aim for late Spring/early Summer on this one being available.
This cover was made by Bonnie Steffens.
It’s a contemporary romantic comedy about a wealthy forty-year-old man who wants to have a child to carry on his company after he dies, but he doesn’t want any woman. He wants a woman who will make a good wife, so he interviews all the single women working in his company and finally decides that Amy Watson will suit him just fine. For the sake of humor and the plot, she’s not going to like this. But he’s determined to get his way and that’s when the contest of wills begin.
